Fine Art Photography by Linda Laitner

Linda LaitnerAbout Linda Laitner

Photographer Linda Laitner works with a singular focus--on bringing to light the details of subjects that others might miss in their day-to-day travels. Her vision is to give viewers a new window on the world so they can see familiar things in a new way...to help people learn to see.

A resident of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Linda frequently draws upon the Southwest’s scenic vistas as inspiration.

Through her landscapes, abstracts, flora and fauna studies, and seasonal works, Linda captures color, light, and texture in a way that is intended to help even the busiest of people let go of the day’s stresses as they view the photos.

She understands the value of taking time out to appreciate beauty--a counterpoint to her current photography work was her nearly 30-year successful career as a leading executive in the health care industry.

Since leaving the corporate world, she has focused on developing her eye for compositional detail, and this effort has paid dividends. Her work has appeared in Albuquerque The Magazine; one of her photos was selected and shown on seven city billboards as part of The Face of Albuquerque display; she has exhibited at the New Mexico State Fair; as well as at New Mexico Tech University’s Macey Center. In addition, her photography has been used in fund raising efforts at both Albuquerque's Roadrunner Food Bank and New Mexico State University's Doña Ana Community College.

Linda earned a digital photography certificate from the University of New Mexico School of Continuing Education and has taken numerous online courses from the Picture Perfect School of Photography. She is also a member of New Mexico’s Enchanted Lens Camera Club and the North American Nature Photographer’s Association (NANPA).

Linda’s current plans include increasing her participation in regional fine art exhibits while publishing and distributing her work to a wider audience. She will be capturing beauty and sharing it all along the way.
